About

We built the technology.
Then we built the company.

Wildcatt exists because we spent years building software that captured how businesses really run, then built the technology that turns that record into something a buyer can accept.

The years before

A decade of building software that captured how things really run

We spent years building products that recorded the day-by-day reality of how a life and a business actually operate: every event, every decision, every system connected to every other system. Without knowing it, we were accumulating exactly the kind of data the next era would pay for.

The technology

We productised the hard part

Extracting a company's data, protecting every identity in it and structuring it to a buyer's standard takes months by hand. We built technology that does it in days: connectors across your systems, irreversible de-identification with a full audit trail, and packaging to whatever shape the market needs.

The market

We work the buyer side directly

Buyers of business data have exacting standards on rights, privacy and structure, and the gap between data sitting in systems and data a buyer will accept is wide. We deal with labs and AI companies directly, so what they need, how they judge value and what passes their review shapes every dataset we prepare.

Wildcatt

Now we do it for you

Wildcatt is that technology and that market access turned outward. We find the value in your data, prepare it properly, and turn it into revenue. Your business is why we built the company.

The name

The name is the only old-fashioned thing about us.

A century ago in the Texas oil country, the drillers who worked unproven ground were called wildcatters. The big companies pumped the fields everyone already knew about. The wildcatters went looking where nothing was proven, and every so often one of them brought in a well that rewrote an industry: Spindletop, 1901, found by a man the experts had ridiculed for nine years.

The best of them insisted it was never luck. It was pattern recognition, earned the hard way, and the nerve to act on it. They were defined by where they looked, not by what everyone already knew was there.

That is the spirit we took the name from: look where nobody else is looking, back your own judgment, and share the risk of the search. The rest of the oil business we left where it belongs, in the last century. We work with data: cleanly, consentedly and quietly.

"Everyone calls it luck. I call it largely judgment based upon experience."

Tom Slick, 1912. Ten dry wells before the strike that made him the largest independent operator in America.

Spindletop, 10 January 1901. One hundred thousand barrels a day, from ground the experts wrote off.

Today the unproven ground is inside your own business: the data you already hold and have never valued. That is where we look.

Now it is your turn.

The technology is built and we work the buyer side directly. The next transaction is yours.
